Frankfurt Am Main
In a desperate attempt to keep this blog a bit personal, I’ll still mention (even though it has already been in May) that Tom and me went to Frankfurt am Main for a few days to visit my dad (who lives in Bad Homburg) and my grandma (who lives in Bonames). Actually we stayed in Bad Homburg, which is a very cosy city with a lot of lovely parks and it also happens to be the place where I was born. Thus, back to my roots, Tom had to endure many long stories about where I grew up and had to act interested
while we visited all the places where I used to hang around when I was a child.
The first picture shows the Kaiser Wilhelms Bad in Bad Homburg, which I thought was the most representative picture for Bad Homburg, apart from all the park pictures we took and the second picture is obviously Tom and me in front of the skyline of Frankfurt am Main.
Sweden
Tom and me went to Sweden for our summer vacation this year. To be more precise, we stayed in the house Getteras at the lake Getrasen in the region of Småland. 
The house was built in a really quiet surrounding; in the middle of a forest and right next to the lake. We did have neighbors, but their house was just barely visible in the distance on the other side of the lake. To reach the next inhabited house you would have to walk about one kilometer. To get to the next city (that barely deserves the name) means driving for 25 km… that’s where we spent two weeks in July and August.
The nature in this area of Sweden is dominated by forests and rocks, which are lying everywhere in every size you could imagine. Every now and then the tranquility of the forests is interrupted by planes with smaller trees, rocks, grass, moss and uprooted trees. You can see an example for this on the picture on the left.
